Mike Johnson is becoming the new speaker of the house. The house did meet on friday at noon to elect the new speaker. Many expected this to become a multi day drama. Ine end the house got it one day, but it was not without drama at all.

Donald Trump had to weight in with members of the house Ralph Norman and Keith Self after they refused to vote for Mike Johnson in the first pass. In the end they changed thier mind and gave Mike Johnson the votes needed. Come on, what do you expect from politicians? A spine? 😄
